This privacy notice tells you what to expect when Skyport Corporation Limited (collectively “SKYPORT”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects personal information about you. SKYPORT is committed to protecting your personal information, and your safety and security when you use SKYPORT services at L.F. Wade International Airport. We are legally obliged to use your personal information in line with the requirements of the Personal Information Protection Act 2016 (“PIPA”).

What personal information we collect from you

We collect, use, and disclose personal information and sensitive personal information (as defined in PIPA) about you only for the stated purpose or purposes for which it was collected. We do not sell your personal information or use it for marketing purposes.

The personal information we need may include:

Name, address, date of birth, email, phone number
Demographic information such as your age, gender, employment details, marital status, emergency contact, nationality
Identifiers such as government issued identification, including passports.
Information about your interaction with us such as survey responses, marketing competitions, and complaints.
CCTV and still imagery in our facilities.

The purposes for which personal information is, or may be used

To maintain the safety and security of the airport for our passengers, staff and stakeholders, including but not limited to national security, prevention and detection of crime, and aviation security.
Providing you with our services and related correspondence.
Coordinating the provision of our services with third parties such as airlines.
Compliance with international aviation regulations.
Baggage handling and lost-and-found processing.
Facilitating our ‘Fast-Track’ services.
Incident reporting and related investigations.
Marketing and customer communications (where consent is obtained).
In response to an individual exercising their rights under PIPA.
For undertaking any data analytics, statistical analysis, or related customer relationship assessment and evaluation.
As may be required for any legal or regulatory purposes.

The identity and types of individuals to whom personal information may be disclosed

We will not transfer or disclose your personal information, other than: as identified in this privacy notice, to our trusted third-party suppliers, and/or to the Police, Customs, courts, regulators, or other authorities to assist them with their investigations or requests and/or for us to report security incidents, or as otherwise required by law, or in response to an access request under PIPA.

Your information may occasionally be used outside of Bermuda for the purposes of international security, or in compliance with international treaties relating to the prevention and detection of crime.

The types of individuals or organizations that we may provide your personal information are as follows:

Governments, regulatory authorities, public bodies, taxation bodies.
Local and overseas law enforcement.
Suppliers, service providers, consultants.
Stakeholders such as tenants.
Professional advisors such as legal, accounting, financial, business advisors.

Third-party outsourcing such as cloud-based services or other IT/data processing service.

You must include sufficient information to enable us, with reasonable effort, to identify the personal information that is relevant to your request. Your request must also include all necessary contact information for us to respond to your request.

You will be contacted by one of our privacy administrators promptly to confirm our receipt of your request, and we will respond to you in no more than two business days after we have received your request.

SKYPORT reserves the right to update this privacy notice at any time and as may be prudent or necessary to reflect changes in our privacy practices or legal requirements.

Please note we will require the following regarding any request we receive from you:

We require your accurate and complete name and contact information.
We require proof of your identity, such as a copy of your passport or driver’s license (including the current photo page).
We will confirm receipt of your request within two business days after we have received same.
We will take a reasonable amount of time to process your enquiry or instructions and initially respond to your request, but usually not more than 45 days (depending on the nature and complexity of your request).

SKYPORT reserves all of its rights and protections afforded to it under PIPA.

This privacy notice tells you what to expect when Skyport Corporation Limited (collectively “SKYPORT”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects personal information about you. In this notice we will inform you about our use of our CCTV systems (“CCTV”). SKYPORT is committed to protecting your personal information, and your safety and security when you use SKYPORT services at L.F. Wade International Airport. We are legally obliged to use your personal information in line with the requirements of the Personal Information Protection Act 2016 (“PIPA”).

What personal information we collect from you

When you use L.F. Wade International Airport managed by SKYPORT, we will collect static and moving imagery, and meta-data such as license plate data, via our CCTV systems. SKYPORT collects this information and data via cameras located throughout the airport, on both the landside (public) and airside (restricted access) locations.

The purposes for which personal information from our CCTV is, or may be used

To maintain the safety and security of the airport for our passengers, staff, and stakeholders, including but not limited to national security, prevention and detection of crime, and aviation security.
To support the effective management of airport operations and any incidents.
For investigative purposes or as evidence to support any follow-up to incidents at the airport.
To enhance our safety and security-related procedures, CCTV footage may be used for training purposes.
To provide evidence of regulatory compliance to the Bermuda Civil Aviation Authority.
In response to an individual exercising their rights under PIPA.
To provide services and meet airport objectives, which include the use of Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR).

The identity and types of individuals to whom our CCTV may be disclosed

The lawful justification for collecting and using CCTV imagery and data is that there are legitimate and appropriate reasons to do so.

Our CCTV imagery and data will, or may, also be used by the following third parties to ensure the safety & security of our operations, and in line with the provisions of PIPA:

The Bermuda Police Service
The Customs Department
Department of Immigration
United States Customs and Border Protection
Transportation Security Administration (TSA)

SKYPORT’s CCTV system infrastructure is shared with third parties such as the Bermuda Police Service and the Customs Department. They may take control of the cameras and use them for security or crime prevention activities as an example.

These arrangements are covered by information sharing agreements (Memoranda of Understanding).
